Portraiture
I use the self portrait as a space to critically examine my experience of the body / image / identity.
I am concerned with the discrepancy between self-image and self-projection through space and time, contrasting the selves I have been, could be or might be.
My self portraits are playful, sometimes poetic and often cryptic.
